Flower Show in Pune, India

The Agri-Horticultural Society of Western India has hosted ‘Buds N’Blooms 2009,’ This flower show and garden holiday is held every year; in 2009 it took place at Empress Botanical Garden between  the 23rd and 25th  of January.

The show was opened by Vijay Pokarna, a chief of the Indian Rose Federation. The visitors were pleased by the opportunities to attend a couple of exhibitions, workshops, street and puppet shows, and contests in flowers, cut flowers, vegetable and fruit.

Beside of everyone took the advantages of getting useful information in regards to wildlife and nature, given by experts.

The lucky winners received their prizes in special ceremony on the 25th of January at 12.30.
