How to Care for Mothers Day Flowers

Getting a splendid or a flowering plant for your mom on the festive occasion of Mothers Day is a half of job as it is very important to take proper care for your nice present after you gifted it.

•    Place the flowers in a vase filled with cool water, add the floral preservative.

•    Take off all the leaves from the stem falling below the waterline in the vase.

•    With a knife or shears cut about 1 inch from the bottom of the stem; while doing so, hold the flowers under water.

•    Add cool water into the vase daily, change the water at least once in three days

•    To achieve the long lasting span of the flowers re-cut the stems any time you change the water.

•    Place the vase in a cool place, far from heat sources.
