Rose Festival-2009 in February

Inspired by an immense success of “Chandigarh Carnival” and “Chrysanthemum Show,” the Utah administrators and Municipal Corporation are going to set up “Rose Festival-2009″ in the winter month of February, namely 20, 21 and 22.

The following week there will be organized a meeting for engineering, tourist and many other representatives of the Utah administration branches. They will discuss all the details on planning the rose show.  The final decision concerning the various show performances will be taken as well.  According to some sources the performances took place the previous year will be reproduced in 2009 Festival with addition of the new programs.

The director of tourism, Samwartak Singh, said that all the preparations would begin after the forthcoming municipal corporation’s meeting but they had to plan and discuss everything needed. He added that among the  3-day -performances would certainly be a fashion show on the  base of the garden theme, musical and dance night, rose prince and rose princess show, flower contest and many others.
