Boronia
Boronia is a small-sized, woody plant originating from Australia. This evergreen is capable to grow outdoors in California and other places with mild climates. Beside of, they may be planted in cool greenhouses.
Boronia is notable by miniature, wiry stems and leaves looking like needles. The plant produces wonderful 4-petal- blooms in the shape of bells. The come in such colors as rosy-carmine, pinkish or maroon and yellow.
One of the popular species is Boronia megastigma, which is remarkable by its pleasing smell- it is so strong that just one plant in flower is capable to fill a greenhouse with its spice-like odor. The slender blooms are mainly pink, brown and yellow.
Boronia is a fantastic container plant, which mostly fits warm coastal climates.
