Being grown in the UK since the 16th century, Grape Hyacinth belongs to the Liliaceae family. Muscari is commonly known as Grape Hyacinth. Its name was originated from the Arabian word ‘muscarimi’ that comes from the Greek word 'moschos' with the reference of the flower’s fragrance.

The flower’s general name of Grape Hyacinth relates to the tight bloom spike resembling a cluster of upside-down grapes. Its genus counts more than 30 species.

The flower’s blooming time is in the months of May and March. They bear nice blooms in greenly-yellow, blue, white, yellow, purple and lilac colors and cues.

The cut plant can be bought at springtime. It can enjoy the case life for about 4-7 days.
