Nolana



Nolana is commonly known as Chilean Bell Flower; it represents a genus of hard annuals or perennials from the Solanaceae family (nightshade one). It originates from costal locations of Chile and Peru.

Nolana can be also called Alibrexia, Aplocarya, Bargemontia, Dolia, Gubleria, Leloutrea, Neudorfia, Osteocarpus, Pachysolen, Periloba, Rayera, Sorema, Teganium, Tula, Velpeaulia, Walberia, and Zwingera.

It is the only genus having a fruit composed of mericarps. However its blooms and other vegetative characteristics coincide the other plants from this family.
